B, Daisy, & I made homemade bread yesterday: letter breadsticks for each of the girls, some delicious calzones (Brian's invention), a doggy (by Daisy), braid breadstick, and some normal loaves--all made with whole wheat. It was yummy, yummy!! (Liz & Faye weren't feeling well enough to help out--they just sat & watched).
One of the days last week, I found Daisy sitting in this bucket--silly girl in her own little world.

My wonderful mother use to make me the cutest little "babies-in-a-blanket" when I was a little girl. Mostly I remember Mom W. making them during church (probably to keep me quiet:) with one of her handkerchiefs. My girls will often ask me, "Will you make 2 babies with my blanket?" It's pretty cute!!
You probably won't read this, but I gotta know! How do you do the babie-in-a-blanket. I think 'Quoia would really like that.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to have found your blog on Serena's blog. Yeah!! I've been wondering how you've been doing and how those little girls are growing up. I'm tellin' ya, you're going to have to lock them up in a few years! You keep them safe for those "Mann" boys. I was just noticing with this post, too, that the next child that either of us have, we'll just have to have an "A" name and we'd have A, B, C, D, E, F and G... LOL!!
